Junior Club Volunteers / Garda Vetting
Tralee Junior Triathlon Club plays a very important role within our triathlon community.
We very much rely on parents / guardians / adults to volunteer at our events.
If fact, without volunteers we cannot hold events!
We would deeply appreciate it if you could help out at Junior club events in 2018.
If you are assisting at just one event then you will not require garda vetting – you can be assigned to assist someone that is already garda vetted.
If you wish to assist at multiple events then you must get garda vetted.
The process is very simple:
- Go to the Triathlon Ireland web site and select Resources – Safeguarding – Garda Vetting and Access NI.
- Please read carefully then print out and fill in the E VET validation form.
- This form can be validated by the clubs Children’s Officer (Niamh Murphy) The Gardaí or a solicitor.
More information is available here.
